Amistad’ star Djimon Hounsou and family have dream life in $10,000,000 mansion

Djimon Hounsou, who appeared in “Blood Diamond” and “Gran Turismo,” wants a tenant for his Westchester, CA, house.

You could live in the actor’s four-bedroom, four-bathroom property minutes from Playa Vista’s stores and eateries for $11,750 per month.

In 2020, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star paid $2.1 million for several miles from the beach.

Appealing estate

Westport Heights’ 1990 mansion is in a cul-de-sac. It contains almost 4,000 square feet of living space.

The main floor has a great room with maple flooring, a beamed cathedral ceiling, and walls of windows. The fireplace-equipped sitting room with stone wall completes the space.

A modern kitchen with a center island, plenty of work space, and Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, and Bosch appliances is to the side.

Dual closets, a fireplace, and a spa bathtub are in the first-floor master suite. This bedroom opens to a rose-filled courtyard.

There are three more bedrooms and two baths upstairs. The coolest detail? Interior balconies link each room. The hot tub, barbecue, and various decks are outside.

Amenities include a downstairs flex room, a laundry room, and a two-car garage.

Benin-born actor, 59, made his debut in Steven Spielberg’s “Amistad.” He has since appeared in over 70 films, including “Gladiator,” “A Quiet Place Part II,” and “Shazam!” Nominated for multiple Academy Awards.
