“The Boys” Season 4 has now garnered more than 55 million viewers globally since the season premiere June 13, Amazon‘s Prime Video revealed Thursday.

That figure counts 39 days of viewership after the premiere, ending on July 21, just after the July 18 season finale drop.

This marks the third-consecutive season of global viewership growth for the satirical superhero series with Prime Video saying “The Boys” Season 4’s current viewership has exceeded the third season’s audience at the comparable time by 20%. It should be noted, however, that Amazon has not released any data on how viewers are counted, especially when it comes to completion of the show. Therefore, it is unknown if a viewer is counted once they have completed a single episode, multiple episodes, finished the season, etc.

Following the “The Boys” Season 4 premiere, Amazon reported an initial 21% more viewers in its first four days of streaming than Season 3’s launch reached in the same amount of time, though exact figures were not provided then.

Per Amazon’s Thursday announcement, “‘The Boys’ Season 4 is now Prime Video’s fourth most-viewed TV season of all time — behind only “Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” Season 1, “Fallout” Season 1 and “Reacher” Season 2 — and is the streamer’s second-most-viewed season of a returning series after “Reacher” Season 2.

60% of viewers for “The Boys” Season 4 were located outside of the U.S., Amazon says, with strong performances in the UK, Brazil, India, Germany, Canada, France, Mexico, Spain and Italy. The season reached Prime Video’s No. 1 title in more than 170 countries during its airing.

“The Boys” was renewed for a fifth and final season ahead of its Season 4 premiere. Showrunner Eric Kripke and his team are currently writing the eight-episode end to the series, which has spurred multiple spinoffs at Amazon, including “Gen V,” which is in production on its second season, and a Mexico-set spinoff still in development.
