XO, Kitty left a lot of information out of its season finale that would make for some great season 2 storylines. The series saw Kitty leave her hometown and set off to Seoul in hopes of having her own love story like Lara Jean and Peter. The series is a spinoff of the successful To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy, where Kitty played a huge role in setting up Lara Jean and Peter. Unfortunately, she learned in XO, Kitty that her own love story is more complicated.
XO, Kitty saw Kitty learning about her sexuality and struggling with her relationship with Dae. While she may have traveled all the way to Seoul to be with him, she realized he wasn’t what she wanted after all. Luckily, she was also at KISS to learn about her mother, and this was a success. Still, the ending of XO, Kitty left a lot of unanswered questions, and since a second season has been confirmed, this leaves plenty of topics for Kitty and her friends to explore.
10Who Was Eve Song’s Boyfriend Simon?
At the end of the XO, Kitty season, Jina gives Kitty a letter that she received from Eve years earlier. Kitty reads the letter on the plane ride home and discovers there is someone named Simon, who may have been her mother’s first love instead of her father. The show doesn’t clarify if this is true, but it would be a great storyline for season 2 to dive into. The main reason Kitty ended up at KISS, other than to reunite with Dae is to learn more about her mother, and she can continue this journey in season 2 by figuring out who Simon is.

XO, Kitty set Kitty and Dae up to be the next Lara and Peter. Unfortunately, things didn’t go according to plan. Dae’s fake relationship with Yuri made it impossible for him to be with Kitty, and by the time he was ready to start a relationship with her, she was already having feelings for Yuri and questioning her sexuality. The two ended the season as friends though Kitty might still have feelings for him. Since he was a big part of her going to KISS, there is potential for them to get back together in season 2.
8Does Kitty Have Feelings For Min Ho?
Min Ho and Kitty started off the season as enemies, but as the series continued, Min Ho started to realize he actually had feelings for Kitty. This made his friendship with Dae difficult. At the end of the season, Min Ho accompanies Kitty on her plane ride home and confesses his feelings for her. The episode concludes before Kitty has a chance to answer, but she appears shocked. Kitty’s feelings for Min Ho could be explored in season 2 of the show. While she seems to really like Yuri, she could find herself in another love triangle with Yuri and Min Ho.

7Will Alex Become A Part Of Yuri’s Family?
Jina seemed open to getting to know Alex when Kitty discovered he was Jina and Professor Lee’s son. However, the season doesn’t clarify what their future would be like. There was a lot of tension in her family throughout the season due to Yuri’s relationship with Juliana and her poor relationship with her husband. Things could improve in season 2 if Jina and her husband work things out and welcome Alex into their home so he can finally get to know his mother.
6Will Yuri & Juliana Stay Together?
Juliana and Yuri couldn’t be together throughout XO, Kitty season 1, because Jina didn’t approve of their relationship. This led to Yuri’s fake relationship with Dae, which made her look better to the public. However, her mother finally accepts her at the end of the season, and she and Juliana reunite at the airport. With Kitty’s feelings for Yuri, it might get harder for her to hide them. Confessing them could interfere with Yuri and Juliana’s relationship, causing them to break up in season 2.

Kitty spent all season learning more about her mother, like her fallout with Jina and her secret son, which actually ended up being Jina’s son. Season 2 will have to continue this storyline, meaning there must be more secrets that Kitty has yet to discover. A good place to start would be by figuring out who Simon is and if he was actually Eve’s first love. Kitty can even get help from Yuri again since her mom could have information on Eve and Simon’s relationship.
4Does Kitty Return To KISS?
Kitty ultimately gets kicked out of KISS for living in the boys’ dorm all semester. However, at the end of the season, Yuri calls her mother and tells her not to expel Kitty. The season ends without revealing if Jina listened to her daughter or not, meaning Kitty’s return to KISS is not confirmed. However, season 2 will have to clear up whether Kitty returns to KISS or stays home for her senior year of high school. Another option would be if she attends a different school in Seoul so she can still be close to her mother and find out more about her life.
3Will Kitty Confess Her Feelings To Yuri?

Kitty tried to confess her feelings to Yuri but stopped herself when Juliana showed up because she didn’t want to embarrass herself or ruin Yuri and Juliana’s reunion. However, it might be hard for her to let go of how she feels about Yuri, leading her to finally tell the truth. Yuri’s standing with Juliana in season 2, could determine whether or not she reciprocates Kitty’s feelings.
2Will Quincy & Florian Get Back Together?
Quincy and Florian had a great start to their relationship until Florian cheated on his finals. Quincy was upset about Florian’s poor sportsmanship, leading them to break up. However, it’s clear his feelings for Florian haven’t gone away. While Florian took Dae’s rightfully earned spot at number one, Quincy could find it in his heart to forgive Florian as long as he doesn’t make the same mistake again, leading them to reunite in season 2.

This doesn’t quite add up since Jina acted weird every time the topic of Eve came up. This could just have been from her guilt over not answering Eve’s letter, but it seems like something else may have happened that she’s not telling Kitty. This would be an interesting plot for XO, Kitty season 2 to dive into.
