Mike Tyson bought a $13 million Florida house. Here’s how big it is, what the estate is like
Florida – specifically South Florida – has long-been a magnet for celebrities, politicians and professional athletes to buy second or primary homes.
Professional Football Hall of Famers Randy Moss and Mike Ditka, Tom Brady, Guy Fieri, Howard Stern, Gloria Estefan, Vanilla Ice, Bill Gates and (famously) President Donald Trump are just a few of the most notable people who own property in the Sunshine State.
And honorary Floridian and former professional heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson just bought his third Palm Beach County property at a whopping $13 million.
Here’s where Mike Tyson’s new house is, where his first Florida home is and what we know about his new Florida home.
Does Mike Tyson have a house in Florida?
Yes. Mike Tyson has two homes in Palm Beach County as of January 2025.
For years, the “baddest man on the planet” has been known for his Las Vegas roots, even making cameos in the Vegas-set “Hangover” movies. And for the last two years, he’s called Florida home, too.
According to a 2022 interview with Bill Maher, Tyson confirmed that he is a Florida resident – and proud of it.
Mike Tyson said his kids live in Boca Raton, Florida and play golf and tennis in the Sunshine State. His daughter, Milan Tyson, is an aspiring tennis champ and she trains in Miami with famed tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou.
The boxing champ told Maher in their 2022 interview that he was “getting ready to move to Boca,” (short for Boca Raton).
“My kids, they’re playing tennis and golf, and we moved to Boca. We got the house and everything,” Tyson told Maher.

How many houses has Mike Tyson owned in Florida?
Tyson’s Delray Beach home is the third home he’s owned in the state. Not only did the former boxing champ buy a condo in Boca Raton a couple of years ago, he and his wife bought a $1.7 million Delray property in May 2024. And this month, they bought another Delray home to the tune of $13 million.
If you don’t know, both Boca Raton and Delray Beach are located in Palm Beach County, around 20 minutes away from each other by car.
According to reports from The Palm Beach Post and a Jan. 13 special warranty deed, Mike Tyson and his wife, Lakiha Tyson, purchased a $13 million property in Tierra del Rey Estates, a gated community in Delray Beach.
According to The Palm Beach Post, the deed “reflects the sale of a 2.7-acre lot with a lake and a sprawling residence in an unincorporated area of Delray,” and the sale was finalized on Jan. 8, 2025.
“According to the Multiple Listing Service, the home the Tysons purchased in the 10000 block of Caballo Court, was not publicly listed,” The Palm Beach Post reported.
“The Palm Beach County Property Appraiser shows a previous sale date on the property of December 2021 for $1.45 million.”
