Kate Middleon’s excitement over meeting Meghan Markle’s newborn baby is proof that they have no beef between them.

Over time, largely owing to tabloids and gossip, people have assumed that the duo were at odds with one another, and rumors of an ongoing feud were rampant on social media. However, whenever they speak about one another online, they always have good things to say.

Over the years, online rumors have pit Middleton and Markle against each other, creating a rather false narrative that the two duchesses are engaged in a long-standing feud.

The pair have been rumored to be feuding for about three years now, and it started popping up with greater strength after the Suxesses decided to leave Kensington behind.

Markle and Prince Harry decided to leave Kensington Palace and move away to Frogmore Cottage shortly after their marriage, allegedly because of drama between the Sussexes and Cambridges.

“There has been a bit of tension between the brothers. Now Harry and Meghan don’t want to live next to William and Kate and want to strike out on their own,” a royal source told The Sun.

The rumors only got stronger after The Sun released a story which reported that Markle was rude to a member of Kate’s staff. The Palace would eventually step in and deny this incident ever happening, but it was enough to add fuel to the fire.

There was also the Us Weekly report in which a source reportedly told the magazine that Kate felt “like Meghan had used her to climb the royal ladder.”

We now know with more certainty that these rumors are unfounded, or at the very least largely overblown: Middleton’s excitement about meeting the Duchess of Sussex’s newborn baby is indicative that the sisters-in-law are plenty cordial with each other.

Middleton recently told reporters while on a visit to a school with U.S. First Lady Jill Biden: “I wish her all the very best, I can’t wait to meet her because we haven’t yet met her yet, so hopefully that will be soon,”

Previously, there was a rumor stating that Middleton was not allowed access to Lilibet, as she hasn’t been introduced to the new Princess. The suggestion stemmed simply from the Duchess mentioning that she hasn’t met the little bundle of joy yet – not surprising, given that they no longer live in the same country.

Nevertheless, Middleton remained happy for Markle and Harry, and was excited to meet their daughter, which goes a long way to prove that there is no restriction, and should discredit any feud rumors that have been largely exaggerated by media outlets pitting the two against one another.

Markle and Middleton have a lot in common, and the former has reportedly on some occasions sought the latter’s advice as regards settling into the Royal family to which the Duchess of Cambridge happily obliged.

The Duchesses seem to be getting closer to being friends than enemies, contrary to what the popular media tries to portray every time.
