Eminem is preparing to be a grandfather after his eldest daughter announced her pregnancy and his adorable reaction to Hailie’s happy baby news was priceless

It’s the news every father hopes for, but Eminem could not quite believe it when he heard the words come out from his daughter’s mouth.

The Slim Shady star was left stunned when his daughter Hailie Jade Mathers revealed she was pregnant. The 51-year-old was filming a music video for his new song ‘Temporary’ when Hailie, 28, surprised him with a jersey saying ‘grandpa’ and an ultrasound picture. Speaking on her ‘Just A Little Shady’ podcast, Hailie recalled: “He was like, ‘Are you trying to call me old?”

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, made the announcement in his music video for Temporary, which is a letter to his daughter in the event of his death.

One moment in the clip shows footage of him and Hailie sitting on some steps when she hands him a Detroit Lions blue jersey emblazoned with the words “Grandpa 1” and an ultrasound.

She graduated from Michigan State University in 2018 with a degree in Psychology. Fans were gripped on her luxury wedding last year that catapulted her into the limelight once more.

Hailie married Evan McClintock in a luxury ceremony. She looked stunning in her white gown as she exchanged vows in Battle Creek, Michigan. She even managed to get her iconic musician father to share a dance with her to mark the special occasion.

According to reports, Hailie Jade and Evan said ‘I do’ in a small ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. Eminem was suited and booted for the occasion, wearing an all-black tuxedo and Hollywood sunglasses.

They got married at Greencrest Manor, where an “average investment” for a wedding is between $85,000 and $105,000 for a single-day rental, and between $105,000 and $135,000 for a “full weekend guest experience”.

Taking to Instagram, Hailie penned: “Waking up a wife this week. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”
