Madonna Brings Her Twin Daughters to 'Deadpool & Wolverine' Premiere

If the star power at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere wasn’t enough to leave fans’ jaws hanging, Madonna’s surprise appearance definitely was.

The pop icon, 65, stepped out for a rare red carpet appearance at the July 22 premiere in New York City, and she sure turned the step-and-repeat into her personal runway with her daring style.

The Grammy-winning musician rocked her signature glam in the form of a sexy ensemble that consisted of a short black blazer dress, matching ankle boots and sunglasses. Her twins Estere and Stella, 11, joined her for pictures with stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman and director Shawn Levy.

Madonna came out to support the Marvel film in which her 1989 song “Like a Prayer” is featured — and the remix is epic.

In a July 19 interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM, Ryan Reynolds and Jackman, who play Deadpool and Wolverine respectively, and director Shawn Levy revealed how they even managed to get the hitmaker’s blessing to use the track to begin with.

“It did involve a personal visit to Madonna, where we showed Madonna the sequence where ‘Like a Prayer’ would be used,” Levy admitted.

“It was a big deal to ask for it and certainly a bigger deal to use it,” Reynolds said. “We went over and met with her and sort of showed her how it was being used, and where, and why.”

Fortunately, Madonna was totally on board — and it helped that her son is a fan of the first two Deadpool films. “She gave a great note,” Reynolds shared. “She watched it, and I’m not kidding, [she said], ‘You need to do this.’ And damn it, if she wasn’t like spot on.”

In addition to the twins, Madonna is mother to Lourdes, 27, Rocco, 24, David, 18, and Mercy 18. Estere and Stella were born in Malawi on Aug. 24, 2012. Madonna adopted the girls in February 2017 when they were 5-years-old.

Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on July 25.
