My Life with the Walter Boys is a coming-of-age show, with a lot of romance at its core, but its best couple hasn’t happened yet. The series follows Jackie Howard, who moves to a small town in Colorado after her family tragically dies in an accident. She moves in with her late mother’s friend, Katherine Walter, and her huge family, which includes many boys. The Netflix TV show includes a lot of romance, and, while its main character finds herself in a love triangle, there are other pairings on My Life with the Walter Boys that are really great, even some that haven’t happened yet.

My Life with the Walter Boys season 1’s ending left the audience wondering who Jackie ended up with between the two Walter brothers, Cole and Alex. However, although the love triangle is the show’s main love story, other important relationships take place, like Nathan and Skylar and Will and Hayley. My Life with the Walter Boys has a great ensemble cast and many possibilities for romance, and season 1 has already hinted that its best couple hasn’t even happened yet.

Danny & Erin Could Be My Life With The Walter Boys’ Best Couple

They didn’t have a romantic plot in season 1.

In My Life with the Walter Boys season 1, Erin had an on-and-off relationship with Cole, but she had the most chemistry with Danny. She struggled to accept her situation with Cole and put an end to it after finding out he slept with Olivia, deciding then to put herself first. Although the main romance is a classic TV love triangle, and Danny didn’t have an official love interest in season 1, he and Erin could make the best couple on the show. Throughout the first season, they had a slow-burn relationship with amazing chemistry.

Erin and Danny’s connection first started in episode 4, “Nineteen,” with him offering to give her a ride home if she drank too much. His proposal surprised Erin, who wasn’t used to guys being nice and respectful given her relationship with Cole, and started seeing him differently. When she auditioned for the play, he was there to support and push her to do it, and their chemistry was off the charts when they rehearsed a scene from the play in front of Isaac. Although they didn’t date in season 1, their last interaction in the finale, with Erin telling him to text her, hints that they could be the best couple.

Danny & Erin Had The Best Arcs In Season 1

Their complexity could help them be the ultimate couple.

Danny explains something to someone offscreen as Erin watches him intently in My Life with the Walter Boys

Danny is Cole’s twin, but they couldn’t be more different. Danny is driven, honest, nice, and helpful, and is easily one of the most likable and non-problematic Walter brothers. Meanwhile, Erin started as a mean girl who dated Cole on and off. She slowly developed into a character you root for, setting boundaries and choosing herself over Cole and her mother’s wishes. Although the relationship was only platonic in season 1, thanks to their complexity and on-screen chemistry, Erin and Danny could become the best couple in My Life with the Walter Boysif there were a season 2.
