The excitement around Eminem’s latest album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) has largely died down since its release in the summer of 2024. As the rapper waits to learn if he earns more gold at the 2025 Grammys, where his set is up for Best Rap Album, fans have returned to one of his biggest singles in a major way.
“Lose Yourself” is a top 10 hit again this week in America. Actually, it appears inside the highest tier on several tallies at once, as it returns to that loftiest space on multiple rankings simultaneously.
The smash rises one important rung on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart, which measures the bestselling tracks in the hip-hop, R&B, and rap genres across the country. This week, it steps up from No. 11 to No. 10, becoming a top 10 most-purchased cut once more.
At the same time, “Lose Yourself” is also present inside that competitive region on the Rap Digital Song Sales ranking. On that tally, the single re-enters at No. 9, after not finding space on the list last time around.
“Lose Yourself” has already reached the top 10 on both of those Billboard rankings in the past. Despite being one of the bestselling and most popular rap tunes of the past several decades, the cut never had a chance to lead the charge. Eminem’s blockbuster peaked at No. 2 on the two rosters.
The song that won Eminem both a Grammy and an Academy Award—a first for a rap composition—has now passed 450 weeks on both of those sales charts. It’s up to 459 frames on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales ranking, and it only needs 10 more turns on the Rap Digital Song Sales roster before hitting 500 stays.
Eminem earns the only comeback on the Rap Digital Song Sales chart this week, though his is not the sole tune that wasn’t present on the list last frame. The tally is led by “Daddy’s Home” by Tom MacDonald and Rosanne Barr, which launches in first place. Conversely, Ice Cube’s “Arrest the President” enters at No. 6.
“Lose Yourself” is Eminem’s only hit on any of Billboard’s U.S.-focused charts this week. He fills two spots on the global rankings, with both “Without Me” and “Mockingbird,” but neither of those tracks—nor any from his most recent album—manage to carve out a home on the national lists.
