Meghan Markle was spotted without her large engagement ring after Prince Harry was away from their Montecito mansion for weeks.
Meghan Markle was not wearing her engagement ring
Meghan Markle was spotted without her engagement ring earlier this month at a solo engagement.
The duchess, 43, stepped out alone on October 2 to visit Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara while Prince Harry was away on solo engagements.
Meghan spent the day with girls to help out with a new digital-wellness program called Social Media U, which is now being offered to students nation wide after a new partnership with responsible-tech advocacy group #HalfTheStory was announced.
The aim is to safeguard girls online and ensure they know how to use social media safely.
Vanity Fair reported that throughout the day, Meghan got involved with games, friendship bracelets, colouring and discussions about social media.
Larissa May, the founder of #HalfTheStory, told Vanity Fair: “We did an activity where we talked through a bunch of scenarios, and Meghan talked about being one of the most bullied people in the world.
“We had girls wave these little emoji signs and talk about how each one of these scenarios would have impacted them emotionally.”
Meghan sported a smart casual look for the event with white trousers and a tucked in blue shirt, with royal fans quick to notice the fact she wasn’t wearing her £150,000 engagement ring from Prince Harry.
However, rumours of an issue between the couple was quickly squashed days later when Meghan attended a children’s hospital gala wearing the large diamond.
