YouTube star Jimmy “MrBeast” has had quite a bit of drama of late. This isn’t new for the content creator, who has had to respond to various call-out posts and questions regarding his content. One such incident was back in September 2023 when YouTuber Seán “Jacksepticeye” appeared critical of MrBeast’s videos.
For context, the drama began when Jacksepticeye appeared on Tom “TommyInnit’s” alternative YouTube channel (Tom Simons) in a video titled OFFENSIVE LIE DETECTOR TEST. As the title suggested, the video featured some YouTubers (including Jacksepticeye) undergoing a lie detector test.
Midway through the video, while Jacksepticeye was strapped in with the sensors, he was asked by TommyInnit if he “likes” MrBeast. To this, Jacksepticeye answered (determined as the truth by the instructor):
“No”
This was followed by Tommy asking if MrBeast (according to Jacksepticeye) had “ruined” YouTube. He responded (also determined as the truth):
“Yes.”
When asked to elaborate, the YouTuber explained:
“Because it became more about views, money and popularity than it did about having fun. (After Jack Manifold jokingly said, ‘But you could still have fun playing Squid Games.’) If he had fun doing those videos, they’d be longer. We’d see the fun.”
“What does that even mean?” – MrBeast responds to comments made by Jacksepticeye
Jacksepticeye’s comments on MrBeast’s content naturally attracted quite a bit of attention. The clip from the video was later shared by an X user (@bowtietwt), who posted the clip along with a caption stating:
“Jacksepticeye having beef with Mr beast was not on my 2023 bingo card.”
This clip received a lot of traction online and also caught MrBeast’s attention. He responded to the comments made by Jacksepticeye on TommyInnit’s lie detector video. The YouTuber clapped back by stating (the tweet has since been deleted/removed):
“‘If he had fun the videos would be longer.’ What does that even mean? You think I’d give up every hour of my life for 14 years (to content creation) if I didn’t have fun?”
“This clip is insanely disrespectful IMO (in my opinion) and obviously there is so much I could say about his content but I’ll just take the punches and be the bigger man. Sigh.”

However, on the same day and in the same post, MrBeast also made an additional reply stating that he had talked with Jacksepticeye and they had resolved the misunderstanding between them. He wrote (the tweet has been deleted):
“We (have) messaged. We’re Gucci now.”
Jacksepticeye too acknowledged this and reacted by posting a ‘thumbs up’ emoji:

Speaking of MrBeast, he is facing serious allegations from a YouTuber and former employee named DogPack404. The accusations involve claims that MrBeast faked some of his videos and hosted illegal lotteries and giveaways. At the time of writing, Jimmy has not responded to these claims.
