England and other parts of the UK have served as an important filming location for many fantasy fiction movies and series including iconic projects like House of the Dragon (2022). The dramatic landscapes of England serve as the perfect backdrop for historical projects and are often the first choice for makers.

A report by Dexerto states that the crew extensively shot at Bovingdon Airfield Studios, Chesham Road in Hertfordshire. A popular studio used in movies like Deadpool 3 (2024), and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), the construction of Bovingdon dates back to World War II.

Apart from this historical studio, England has set the stage for many scenes in The Rings of Power Season 2.

The crew reportedly stayed in Tenerife’s San Juan de la Rambla town for around five weeks during the shoot, making it an important shooting location for The Rings of Power Season 2.
