Prince Harry and Meghan Markle started dating in the summer of 2016, and when Harry’s brother, Prince William, became worried the relationship was moving quickly, the two ended up sharing a few stern words.

Speaking in the documentary ‘Kate v. Meghan: Princesses at War?’, royal expert, Katie Nicholl said: “William was quite concerned that the relationship had moved so quickly. And being close to Harry, probably the only person close enough to say to Harry, ‘This seems to be moving quickly, are you sure?'”

Although the expert believes Prince William was trying to give “well-intended” brotherly advice, Harry ended up getting frustrated with him.

According to the Sun’s royal correspondent Emily Andrews, things went one step further. She stated that after William’s remarks, Harry issued a brutal 10-word response and said: “You’re trying to wreck this relationship before it’s even started.”

However, author Omid Scobie, in the book ‘Finding Freedom’, co-wrote that a friend of Harry’s, Tom ‘Skippy’ Inskip, was also unsure of the match. He wrote: “Not everyone felt as sure of this match as Harry did. A month after his own wedding, Skippy sat down with his childhood friend to voice a concern: Harry and Meghan were moving too quickly.”
