Ellen DeGeneres, a close friend of Meghan Markle, is reportedly considering relocating from California to the Cotswolds in Britain. The move comes amidst reports that DeGeneres and her spouse, Portia de Rossi, are disheartened by the recent US election results. DeGeneres and de Rossi have been spotted in the Cotswolds recently, where they are said to have purchased a property.

Meghan Markle might return to the UK as it has been reported that one of her close friends is considering relocation from the US, Daily Express reported.

Ellen DeGeneres, a longstanding friend of the former actress Markle since her ‘Suits’ days, is reportedly considering relocating from California to the Cotswolds. The 66-year-old presenter and her spouse Portia De Rossi, 51, have allegedly acquired an upmarket property in this scenic British region.

Previously, Ellen visited Meghan and Prince Harry whilst they resided in Britain, spending time with them and their firstborn.

This previous hospitality could potentially be reciprocated should the anticipated relocation proceed.

The timing of Ellen’s potential relocation coincides with President Trump’s recent electoral success in the US. The Daily Mail reports that Ellen and her partner – who were spotted at “The Farmer’s Dog”, Jeremy Clarkson’s establishment in the Cotswolds recently – are reportedly disheartened by the election outcome and are keen to leave America.

Currently, Meghan and Harry reside in California with their children, reportedly in close proximity to Ellen and Portia. They have been based in America since 2020, following their withdrawal from senior royal duties. While Harry has made several visits to Britain, Meghan’s last visit to the UK was in 2022.
