Their Netflix contract is up for renewal, and her brand, American Riviera Orchard, has faced criticism. Markle feels under pressure and believes her work is unfairly criticized, causing tension in their new life in America.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the center of ongoing media buzz, have once again captured headlines, this time due to reports of a growing rift between them.

Royal author Tom Quinn, speaking to The Mirror US, disclosed that Meghan Markle’s mounting concerns about her future are causing tension within their relationship, exacerbated by the pressures of their move to America.

“There is a noticeable rift developing between Harry and Meghan driven by Meghan’s increasing apprehension that her life isn’t unfolding as planned. She thrives on media attention and is dismayed by surveys suggesting waning public interest in her and Harry,” Quinn revealed.

The couple’s lucrative five-year deal with Netflix was initially seen as a Hollywood lifeline post their departure from the Royal family. However, with its impending expiry and no confirmation of renewal, uncertainty looms over their financial stability.

In addition to their Netflix ventures, Meghan launched her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. Despite high expectations, the brand’s products have yet to hit the market. “Amid rumors of their Netflix contract’s jeopardy and criticism of her brand’s launch, Meghan feels besieged,” Quinn remarked.

March saw the launch of American Riviera Orchard, which initially provided scant details about its offerings. Recent reports indicate Meghan’s plans to retail kitchenware, oils, nutbutter, jams, preserves, home fragrances, and furnishings.

“The launch of American Riviera Orchard left Meghan visibly upset, especially when her new products faced ridicule for their pricing and perceived lack of novelty,” Quinn added.

“She’s now at a point where she anticipates scrutiny regardless of her endeavors. Alongside Harry, she perceives herself unfairly targeted and struggles to comprehend why her efforts aren’t met with admiration,” he concluded.
