Kanye West blames Taylor Swift for never being ‘allowed’ to perform at Super Bowl
No woman should have all that power, according to Kanye West.
In a since-deleted post shared to X Monday, the rapper claimed he’s never been asked to headline a Super Bowl halftime show due in part to his years-long beef with Taylor Swift.
“I never was allowed to do the Super Bowl because of three moments. George Bush don’t care about Black people. The Taylor Swift movement moment. Wearing a MAGA hat,” he alleged, also referring to his public support of President Trump.

West — who now goes by Ye — has been on Swift Nation’s naughty list ever since he crashed her 2009 MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech to give a shoutout to Beyoncé. The “All Falls Down” rapper, 47, also used her name in his 2016 song “Famous,” which Swift claims he did without her permission.
Their feud has persisted all these years — with West recently slamming Swift, 35, in February when she was seen dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 Grammys performance.
Lamar, 37, was notably selected as the 2025 Super Bowl halftime performer while Swift was in the stands supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The “Flashing Lights” artist also claimed that he was “blocked from the mainstage” because he was “ahead of [his] time.”
“(And I mean all of this was before I went full Nazi of course),” he added, referencing the antisemitic comments he’s made over the years.
The rapper has never performed during the official halftime show of any Super Bowl, though he did perform with Rihanna during a pre-Super Bowl gig in 2015.

While West only recently declared himself a Nazi and proclaimed his love for Adolf Hitler in February, his antisemitism dates back to at least 2022 when he tweeted about wanting to go “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.”
The Yeezy designer’s career quickly spiraled and he was dropped by Adidas and several other brands. He issued an apology over the revolting scandal in 2023, only to go on several vile antisemitic rants on social media since then.
Ye even started selling Swastika T-shirts on his clothing brand’s website in February, prompting his talent agency to drop him as a client.
