Eric Trump’s father, Donald Trump, is running for president of the United States, but one of Eric’s recent interviews seemed to be more focused on the British monarchy. While talking about his opinions on the royal family, Eric didn’t shy away from sharing how he really feels about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which included calling Harry a “black sheep” who “no one cares” about in the US.

Eric didn’t hold back.

While talking to the Daily Mail, Eric didn’t seem impressed with Prince Harry or his decision to leave royal life behind … and that’s probably putting it mildly.

‘Truthfully I don’t give a damn about Prince Harry and I don’t think this country does either,” he said.

Wow, Eric — tell us how you really feel!

He believes the Duke of Sussex let the royals down by moving to the US.

He told the outlet that he believes Harry and Meghan “have gone off the deep end and it’s sad to watch.”

“You look at this one black sheep who doesn’t exactly know where he is, led by a wife that is pretty unpopular, both here and over where you are,” he said.

On the contrary, he seems to like Harry’s brother.

When the topic of Prince William and Kate Middleton came up, Eric was much more positive.

“Kate, I think she conducts herself so incredibly well and has been such a rock in the next generation of the family,” he said.

He’s also a fan of King Charles. He said, “We’ve known the King forever. In fact, I was just digging through a photo album not too long ago and I came across a picture of him with my father, I’m six years old in the lobby of Mar-a-Lago.”

Eric went on to talk about his dad’s respect for the monarchy.

“My father loved the Queen and I think the monarchy is an incredibly beautiful thing,” he said, later adding, “I can tell you that our father and our entire family has tremendous respect for the monarchy.”

During another part of the interview, Eric said, “The late Queen was amazing. The way she welcomed my father with open arms was, like, beyond.”

The love Donald felt for Queen Elizabeth may not have been mutual.

According to palace insider intel that Craig Brown shared in his book, A Voyage Around the Queen, the monarch didn’t try to hide that she found the then-president “rude.”

“A few weeks after President Trump’s visit, for instance, she confided in one lunch guest that she found him ‘very rude’: she particularly disliked the way he couldn’t stop looking over her shoulder, as though in search of others more interesting,” Brown wrote.
