Eminem’s latest album is on the verge of setting an unfortunate record as his shortest-charting studio release. “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)”, has taken a sharp drop on the Billboard 200, falling 30 spots to land at No. 179 in its 29th week.

Current projections suggest it could exit the chart entirely next week—potentially making it the shortest-charting studio album of his career.

For context, even “Revival”, which faced heavy criticism upon release, lasted 31 weeks on the chart. Meanwhile, “Music to Be Murdered By” stuck around for an impressive 121 weeks, thanks partly to the well-timed Side B deluxe edition.

So what happened? The album had a strong start last summer, debuting at No. 1, yet its rapid descent is surprising.
