Fans Freaking Out After Date Of Death Showed Up When Googling Eminem

Fans freaking out after date of death showed up when Googling Eminem

Eminem fans were collectively stressing out after claims that the hiphop star had died.

Eminem’s fans were sent into a frenzy online after Google searches falsely confirmed the rapper’s death.

Eminem is widely considered to be one of the best rappers ever and his loss to the music world is expected to be felt all around the globe.

Some fans of the star believed the star had died after Googling his name, as search engine results claimed he had died on December 10.

It even gave a location of his alleged death: Madison, Wisconsin.

Social media users were quick to screenshot this and question whether the star had truly passed away.

However, fans were able to breathe a sigh of relief, as Google no longer says the star is dead.

It seems likely someone had edited the rapper’s Wikipedia page, with the results pulling through to Google.

The unknown person even made this change before December 10, meaning the rapper’s death was announced before it was actually meant to have happened.

Naturally, a lot of fans weren’t happy with having their emotions toyed with and rage quickly followed online.

“Whoever made this needs to be sent straight to jail. My heart is pounding and I genuinely felt sick seeing this. Actual heart palpitations,” one super fan wrote on an X post that shared a screenshot from Google that said the artist had died.

“Eminem is my all time favorite artist – ever! Dude’s music literally changed my life. Thank f**k this isn’t real!”

“Whoever edited that wiki to say Eminem died I hope you croak fast,” said another sharing a fighting gif.

Other fans found the funny side in such a scare and shared memes and jokes about the incident.

“Eminem waking up and realizing he died (according to Google),” one X user joked.

“It was probably done by ppl who want their favorite rapper to be called the best living rapper, but as long as Eminem is alive, it’s impossible,” another added.

“Eminem so legendary he died tomorrow,” joked another.

While it’s pretty obvious the death rumours were a hoax, those not yet convinced took to the rapper’s Instagram account to ask the rapper himself if he was still alive.

The artist doesn’t appear to have replied to any of the posts, but this is probably because he has better things to be doing.

This isn’t even the first time false rumors about the musician’s death have circulated, after conspiracy theorists previously claimed he died in 2006 and was replaced by a clone. Sounds legit.
