It’s such a long wait though

The Boys season 5 first teaser is getting fans hyped for the end

Since its inception in 2019, The Boys has been one of the most popular series on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service.

Inspired by the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson comic book series of the same name, The Boys is a satirical take on the not-so-heroic antics of the superhero world following a commercialised group known as The Seven created by the evil corporation, Vought International.

Without giving anything away, The Boys season four left us on quite the cliffhanger resulting in fans eager for the fifth and final season. However, fans are in for a long wait until the final season arrives with Karl Urban who plays Billy Butcher confirming that it will arrive at some point in 2025.

That being said, The Boys season five may not arrive until next year but that doesn’t mean that production isn’t already underway because Anthony Starr who plays the big, bad leader of The Seven, Homelander, has posted a small tease online getting fans even more hyped for the finale.

“Antony Starr went to see the costume designers. New suit for S5?” posted Reddit user vsmallkso with a screengrab of the actor’s Instagram page who looks to be with two wardrobe fitters.

“His comic suit would be nice for the last season,” replied iWentRogue referring to the Homelander suit that features a cape that further emphasises the American flag over his left shoulder and a larger American Bald Eagle on his right.

“Oooooh, maybe a comic suit. I love the suspense, exclaimed Melodic-Percentage-9 with Unstable_Bear adding “God, I want him to get his comic suit SO BAD!”

“Subtle changes to cape length and size of the shoulder pads would be nice. Making it more villainous and dictatorial,” HankSteakfist suggested.

Seasons one to four of The Boys are available to stream on Amazon’s Prime Video right now.
