Tour schedule Eminem’s latest ‘leaked’: Announcement website quickly deleted before it went viral

Australian fans of Eminem could be in for an early Christmas present after the rapper’s tour dates were seemingly leaked.

The musician, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, could return Down Under as early as February next year, according to a since-deleted article by News.com.au.

On Sunday, the website published several Australian tour dates promoting the album Kamikaze. However, the article was ‘promptly removed’ according to Tone Deaf.

Eminem hasn’t been Down Under since 2014, when he headlined the Rapture tour.

The tour will reportedly visit Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne between February 20 and February 24.

He is also expected to also visit Perth for the first time next year, performing at Optus Stadium in the WA capital.

It comes after the chart-topper released his new album Kamikaze to much acclaim and Billboard chart success.

The release also made headlines because Machine Gun Kelly and South African rapper Die Antwoord were targeted in diss tracks.

Eminem first rose to international fame in the late 1990s.

His career took off with hits like The Real Slim Shady, Stan, and Lose Yourself.

Lose Yourself even won an Academy Award for Best Original song, the first of its genre to do so.

The track had featured in Eminem’s semi-biographical film Eight Mile.
