Chaos erupts as Meghan and Doria flee Netflix headquarters after crisis meeting over cooking show, what more does she want?

Meghan McKinley and her mother Doria Ragland stormed out of Netflix’s Los Angeles headquarters following an explosive meeting about her upcoming cooking show, “Cooking with Hot.”

The incident has raised questions about the future of the Duchess of Sussex’s multi-million dollar streaming deal and her increasingly fragile relationship with the entertainment giant.

During the pre-production meeting, the Duchess arrived with unexpected demands that left Netflix executive Shell shocked. She presented a completely revamped show that bore little resemblance to the agreed upon concept

The situation escalated when discussion turned to the budget, as Megan’s new concept would require significantly more resources with elaborate onlocation shoots and a rust of AES guests that would strain even Netflix’s considerable coffers.

When executives tried to explain the financial constraints, Mel became indignant and refused to compromise her vision for people who didn’t understand what she was trying to accomplish.

The dramatic exit has thrown the future of the cooking show into serious doubt, with production scheduled to begin in just six weeks.

Netflix now faces the difficult decision of whether to attempt reconciliation with The Duchess or cut their losses on a project that has already consumed considerable pre-production resources.

Sources close to Megan paint a different picture, suggesting that Netflix has consistently failed to understand her broader ambitions. The timing is particularly unfortunate as Harry and Meghan’s deal with Netflix is reportedly coming up for renewal next year.
