*Warning: this article reveals major spoilers for Our Little Secret.*

Netflix’s latest offering, Our Little Secret, has finally arrived, featuring Ian Harding and Lindsay Lohan as two embittered ex-lovers.

The romantic comedy revolves around Avery (played by Lohan), a decade after her acrimonious split with Logan (Harding). Fate throws them together again when they find out their current partners are siblings, leading to an enforced Christmas reunion.

To sidestep any uncomfortable discussions with their partners’ family, they choose to keep their previous relationship under wraps and pledge to support each other during the brief visit. Although they manage to maintain civility and even show kindness towards each other, various complications throughout the movie result in their secret being unveiled.

As the family was unwrapping Christmas gifts, Logan received an unexpected visit from his grandmother and mother, courtesy of Cassie (Katie Baker). Before he could spill the beans, Logan’s grandmother recognized Avery and spilled their secret to the entire family, reports the Mirror.

But what becomes of the spiteful exes in the end, and which relationships weather the holiday storm? Let’s dissect the film’s conclusion.

Do Avery and Logan rekindle their romance?

Indeed, Avery and Logan reunite. From the onset of the drama, their love story is depicted as a once-in-a-lifetime kind of romance.

Prior to their separation, Logan had planned to propose to Avery, a move that both their families were in favor of.

Despite the complexities, the pair maintain a respectful distance from each other, honoring their current relationships. Throughout the movie, there’s no hint of an affair or even a slight flirtation between them.

However, in a twist that catches the audience off guard, Logan shows up at Avery’s housewarming party towards the end of the film.

In a heartfelt admission, he reveals his willingness to endure the “nightmare” Christmas visit once more if it meant reuniting with Avery, and he professes his love for her.

Fast forward one year, and the couple is depicted living together in bliss. The storyline also subtly suggests that Erica (Kristin Chenoweth) and Stan (Tim Meadows) may have kindled their own romance after being betrayed by their respective partners.

While infidelity played a significant role in the narrative for the older characters, the conclusion of the film leaves Margaret (Judy Reyes) and Leonard’s (Dan Bucatinsky) relationship status out of the picture.

Our Little Secret is out now on Netflix.
